As a University Teacher, my profession is to lecture and distribute my knowledge. Even being a dilletante in Tango musicology, I am happy to talk about more than 20 years of being a Tango afficionado. These are the lectures I have to offer:

 

1. History of Tango from the Beginning to Contemporary Music

2x 60-90 min. Lecture

This double lecture tries to cover the whole music history of Tango for Tango dancers. Lecture is available in German or English, currently 150 slides with more than 50 musical examples and videos.

 

2. The big Orchestras of the EDO – What every Tango Dancer needs to know.

90 minutes lecture

This lecture focuses on the 15 main orchestras of the 40ies. Currently 90 slides with around 45 musical examples and videos.

 

3. DJ Seminars on Request. 

 

 

Lectures may be booked on request and are subject to (my) availability.

Please note that I do not ask for a lecture fee. For non profit Tango clubs, my lectures are free of charge, for profit clubs I would prefer the organizers to donate for a charity project.
